Maths patterns 3

I used Google draw to make 3 repeated patterns. My shapes are a hexagon,diamond and a triangle. My colours are yellow,blue and purple. My background colour is pink. Enjoyed making my patterns.

Making patterns

Today I was making heart patterns the colours I used is pink,purple,pink,purple,pink,purple,pink. I reaped the colours and the patterns.

My special time with my Grandparents

My mum took me to see my Grandparents in China because my mum wants to see if they are good and she missed them. When we arrived in China the first thing we saw were my grandparents! I was so happy when I saw them. After that we all went to get a taxi and I helped them to put the luggage in. At my grandparents house I helped mum to get the luggage out. Next we all went to the market to buy some vegetables, fish and some seeds. At there house they had a huge garden and I helped to plant the seeds. They did not tell  me what the seeds are.I taught my grandma how to speak English and taught her how to say apple and tomatoes. She said it funny,and it made me laugh.Later we all went to sleep.I had a good time with my grandparents.

My best mum!

My mum loves me. She kisses me when she goes away. At night she snuggles up next to me and reads me a book. When I am sad my mum will cheer me up by reading a story. On the weekends she plays with me on the trampoline. My mum is kind. She let me go to my neighbours house to play. She brings some biscuits from her work and gave them to me. My mum's name is Sunny and I really like her name. My mum is beautiful. She light's me up when she smiles. I love my mum and she loves me.

St Patrick's day

Hurray! It's St Patrick's day and we had sports.

Yesterday it was St Patrick's day. When the school bell rang we all went in front of the school . Then our school principal called out our names. The team that I was in was called the Shamrocks. Our leader led us to a teacher. Every teacher has a game that we can play. Our team played golf. 

Next we all went to another game. We had to go in the hoop twice, then go around the hockey stick, then ran  back.After that, we played Rob the nest. Our teacher put some tennis balls in a hoop. Our team was split in half because their are many of us and we are not allowed to get tennis balls from our team.  When all the balls were in the middle our teacher counted to 3 then we have to run in middle and rob as many balls as we can. 

When the school bell rang we had to go back to class. The game I like best was Rob the nest. I had fun.

Have you seen a waka ?

 I went with my school to Point England on a bus. We welcomed the people from Hawaii. They arrived in a waka.

I was so happy when I saw them because I never saw them before. They told us to go in front and gave hi-five to the people and I said "hi, nice to meet you". After that all the schools sang two songs to them. 

Later, our school walked to the bus. The other half of our school went first. After that the same bus came back that's why it took long to go back. When I was at school I was happy to see my friends. I had a good time.

Popular pets in Room 5L

Popular pets Room 5L. The turtles are the most popular pets in Room 5L because they have a hard shell and its shell keep the turtles safe. 17 people in Room 5L like turtles. The dogs are the second  popular pet. Because dogs can play with you and they love you very much. 16 people like dogs. The lest popular pet is the birds because they can fly away from you and there food comes out of the cage. 9 people in Room 5L like birds.

Summary 
   We found out that Room 5L's favorite ice cream is Cookie's and cream. 9 students like Cookies and Cream. The next favorite ice cream is Hokey Pokey. 3 students in Room 5L like Hokey pokey. The least favorite ice cream is Vanilla.                       

ANZAC day celebration!

ANZAC day celebration!

Our school prayed for the people who died in the ANZAC war.

Room 8 started reading prayers for the ANZAC people that died.After that the teachers gave some crosses to us.Next the whole school sang a national Anthem.After that my friend and the other people got there crosses and stuck it on the ground.Next the room 8  put some symbols on a large cross. Later on they stuck lots of poppies into the ground next to the crosses.Lastly we all prayed then went home.
